This term we are focusing on measuring in P3. Today we began to look at length, width and height using non-standard methods. We measured the height of each other using cubes and also the length of our hands and feet.

Today is maths in p4/5 we played a challenge game in pairs. We had to roll a dice then with the number on the dice use the number of cubes to create an image. The challenging team need to make a replica of the image on their side. One rule we all had to follow was that it need to be symmetrical.

In Primary 3 we spent the day looking at the context of Spring. We firstly went on a spring walk around the school grounds. Next we then worked in groups to mind-map ideas about Spring. We scaffolded the learning by road aging our ideas around the class. We then used all the ideas to create Spring poems. Finally we painted beautiful Spring fields blossoming with daffodils. The day left us feeling happy! 🌼
