As always, we’re selling poppies in the school in the lead up to Armistice Day on 11th November and the Remembrance Celebrations. This was the subject of today’s Assemblies, so the children should (!) be able to recount some information. The Poppies have a double use – showing that we remember and respect those who have died in wars, and also helping to provide for those who have been injured in conflict. Lest We Forget.

A big thanks to the Fire Officers who have visited the school three times this term to talk with P1, P3 and P6/7 about aspects of Fire Safety. Let’s follow their advice, especially in Bonfire season……………………….STAY SAFE!
