Head Lice remain a ongoing issue in school (as in all schools). Please make sure that you check your child’s head on a regular basis (every day if you can) and treat if required. Your chemist can advise on this. Routine inspections are not carried out in school although if we do notice anything we will contact home to let you know. Under guidance from NHS Tayside, general letters are not issued to classes if there is a head lice case (this practice ceased many years ago).
