At feedback today, the Inspection team gave us a positive report, with lots of strengths along with points for action. They were pleased that we knew our school and our children well. They asked me to thank the children particularly for their great manners, great behaviour and obvious enjoyment of learning in St Clement’s, and the staff for their hard work, passion and commitment to the learning and care of our pupils. They were very impressed with the feeling in the school and the welcome they were given. More detail will come in a letter to parents in a few weeks time, along with the publishing of a report on the HMIE website. A big thank you to all parents/carers and partners for their support this week and in general, and a particular thanks to the staff and pupils of Camperdown PS for ‘walking with us’ this week. We’re really looking forward to extending our work with them as the shared campus progresses.
A giant Conga was held around the school and grounds this pm (photos later) – any guesses as to which teacher suggested that as a way of celebrating the week’s end? 🙂
