We have been  using the Code-a-pillar again this week, but we attached a pen to the front of it, so we could track where he was going.  It was very interesting to watch and quite exciting! Sometimes, it accidentally came off the paper and onto the floor, much to the children’s shock!

It was interesting to watch the route we had planned for Code-A-Pillar to take.  Sometimes, he didn’t go where we thought and sometimes, he even went on the floor … with the pen … much to the children’s annoyance at him!

We had a visit from firefighters this week, to let us see around the fire engine, and have a turn at using the very powerful hose.

On our in-service day, the staff were very busy discussing plans for next term when we move to 1140 hours.  We split into groups to discuss various things.

Here is part of the group who were discussing our plans to introduce some Mindfulness techniques with the children.

Don’t forget it’s the Victoria Day holiday on Monday 27 May, for which nursery is closed, but we are back open on Tuesday 28 May.
