Dens Road have a very successful athletics team, which takes part in numerous events throughout the year. The team has a mixture of P6 and P7 pupils who compete in track and field events indoors and outdoors. Currently we are the Dundee region ‘Fun in Athletics’ champions and finished 2nd overall in the Angus, Fife, Perth and Dundee area (the highest place ever recorded by a Dundee school).

Our P6 girls (now P7) are the holders of the Cross Country team shield, where over 100 girls took part at Baxter Park. At the end of the year the outdoor championships take place at Caird Park, where last year we came away with a number individual medals.
