On Tuesday 22nd March at 9.30am, parents of P5/6 and pupils and teachers of Dens Road PS will get a chance to see what has been happening in our class. There will be a very special guest appearance from the one, the only ‘Punk Rockers’! Come along and have a blast!!
P5/6 are under a lot of pressure to finish their t-shirts to the fantastic quality that they designed some weeks ago. With careful planning, each child used fabric paint to colour the t-shirt. Once finished they used a black fabric pen to mark on the tour details. As these dry overnight, we hope that when they are ironed they will look equally as cool!
Alex, along with a number of friends have finally finished the stand for their band. This was a difficult challenge, which each member of the group rose to.
Scarlett Skull and Chris Dunkin, from the band ‘The Punk Rockers’ made a surprise visit to Dens Road because they had heard of all the cool things happening in P5/6. They advertised their upcoming UK tour and told us they would be back with the rest of the band soon!
P5/6 turned costume designers to create suitable clothes for their characters. With good planning, listening and talking each group created clothes worthy of a Rock Star!
Kyle Shark, known as Sharky to his friends was born in 1990. He is 21 and from Atlanta in America. He plays the drums and joined two years ago. He can actually be quite evil, but is a nice guy at heart.
Lucy Jones is 24 from Manchester, England. She changed her name to Chaos Candy to be more Rock ‘n’ Roll. She plays the lead guitar and composes the bands’ music. She is quite laid back and lets other people do the hard work. She is the joker of the band.
Chris is 22 years old and from Madrid in Spain. He met the band at an audition for a new bass player. He joined in 2007 to prove that he had talent. He can be mean, but can be nice sometimes. Chris likes to play football and basketball. He really likes wearing skeleton tops and gold jewellery. Sorry ladies this guy is taken! He has a girlfriend called Summer.
His real name is Ryan Nicky, but his rocker name is survivor bones. He is only 24 and comes from London, England. Being the lead singer he is very popular. He joined the band in 2007 because he needed some extra money to support his family. He’s mean to boys, but nice to girls!
Johnny Diklen aka Jhony Rocker is 27, he is from London. He plays rhythm guitar. He has only recently joined the band. He likes playing the guitar with his friends in the band and is just a really cool and good person.
