Below is our Building Positive Relationships Policy that was developed in 2019 in partnership with children, staff, families and other community partners and agencies.

Further development work during Session 2022/2023, resulted in the children and staff developing our SMILE approach. This underpins our school values, positive approaches to behaviour and building positive relationships.
In September 2023, Mrs Anderson, our Principal Teacher worked with our Pupil Council to develop the SMILE contract.
This was discussed with all children and feedback was sought from our families too.
The Building Positive Relationships Policy, SMILE approach and SMILE contract all complement one another to ensure respectful, positive and consistent approaches across our school community.
