We went skiing this week. The first thing we learned was how to put our boots and skis on. Then we went out to the slope and learned how to move in our skis. We then went up the slope and learned how to manoeuvre on the ski slope. We then went down the ski slope! JT said “We split into two teams and we learned how to side step”. BM1 said ” I fell a lot but I kept getting up and trying again!” JK said ” I enjoyed going down the hill as fast as I could”. We are feeling excited for the next time we go! We then wrote about our skiing experience on the laptops. We thought about times we have been in the learning pit and used our growth mindset skills.

In P.E this week we have been being focusing on invasion games. Invasion games are games when you invade other people’s space. The games we have been playing include Football and Rugby. RM said “It was really fun to play rugby because of the amazing games we played!”

Welcome to our Primary 7 blog.

This week we have got straight back into the swing of things. We have been creating goals for ourselves to aim towards in P7. We did this by creating mind-maps. Using our mind-maps we broke down each goal and made them into manageable steps. We have also been creating a new class charter and thought about all of our responsibilities in P7. We met up with our little buddies this week and helped them at playtime and lunch time.

We are looking forward to next week where we will get started back with all of our other work. We are also looking forward to skiing on Thursday.
