Hi all,

We have been very busy with the Christmas concert preparations, making sure we knew all the song words of by heart. We really liked the Robbie Williams song, Let’s not go shopping! We did very well at the 4 concerts. This week we will be learning songs for the church service on Friday.

We have been focusing on multiplication and division this term and applying our knowledge in a variety of settings. We have enjoyed singing our tables to help with quick recall of the facts. We have used think boards to show our answers in different ways.  We have also been doing problem solving maths challenges that have a Christmas theme. We need to work in pairs and use our prior knowledge to complete the tasks.

We watched The Snowman and then put ourselves in the position of the young boy in the story and wrote about our journey to the North Pole with our snow person.

We have been working incredibly hard in remembering and doing our dances that we have learned previously. We have been working in pairs and working alongside other classes as we will be using these skills at our party on Wednesday.
