Gymnastics Results
Gymnastics Results
On Sunday 24th January 2016 16 gymnasts went to Alva Academy to compete in the Clackmannanshire Schools Gymnastics Competition. All the gymnasts had to perform a floor routine and a vault in front of judges and a large audience. Every gymnast showed great courage and finesse, they were a credit to themselves and Menstrie Primary School. The following gymnasts received medals with the gold medalists progressing to the next level of competition in Perth competing against other regional winners.

P5 PE
Welcome to the P5 part of the PE blog.
In PE this term we have been learning how to improve our gymnastics skills. We used the iPad to video our skills and then we compared it to a model performance so we could identify two strengths and one area for development. We have spent time doing practices and exercises to help us improve our area for development and the next time we are in PE we are going to video our skill again to see if we have improved.
Some P5 thoughts on PE and some people at work!
Oliver P5 – I like warm ups and dodgeball but I don’t like gymnastics.
Alexander P5 – I also like warm ups and stretches but don’t like gymnastics.
Findlay P5 – I like doing different things in PE.
Sam P5 – I like doing sporty things!
Lewis P5 – I like playing different games in PE.
Euan P5 – I like playing with Rory.
Callum P5 – I like running around in PE.
Aleem P5 – I like getting more muscles.
