Mrs McKenzie, Acting Depute, will be
taking up a new post within another local
authority in the New Year. Mrs McKenzie
has been invaluable in supporting all of us in
our improvement journey and has
developed good relationships with all of the
children and staff, particularly Primary 4,
since August. Mrs McKenzie will be greatly
missed and we wish her all the very best in
her new post.
Mrs McDowall will return from maternity
leave as class teacher to Primary 4 on 22
January.
Mrs Kelly, Principal Teacher, will
work with Primary 4 full time until then.
Mrs Kelly, Depute Headteacher, will return
from maternity leave on 19 February. We
very much look forward to welcoming both
Mrs McDowall and Mrs Kelly, back to
Deerpark.
Angela Coulter, Early Intervention Team,
left for a new job early in December.
Vicky Mosettig will be taking over from
Angela in the New Year.
It was great to see so many children and staff taking part in our efforts to raise money for Children In Need by wearing onesies or pyjamas.
1 December – Parent Council Christmas Fayre
This morning we talked about our school values – resilience,safety, fun, tolerance, respect, nurturing and effort.
Every child who wears school uniform every day that they are in school during September, and every month thereafter, will earn themselves and extra playtime next week.
