Deerpark Primary School’s Anti-Bullying Policy and Guidelines.

At Deerpark Primary School we understand that“Bullying is both behaviour and impact; the impact is on a person’s capacity to feel in control of themselves. This is what we term as their  sense of ‘agency’.

Bullying takes place in the context of relationships; it is behaviour that can make people feel hurt, threatened, frightened and left out.

This behaviour happens face to face and online”.(respectme, 2015)We have, and will continue to work as a staff, and with families and learners to create and maintain a culture where bullying is seen as unacceptable, and where instances are found to exist, is addressed quickly.

Bullying should never be seen as a typical partof growing up.Please see Deerpark Primary School’s Anti-Bullying Policy and Guidelines.Do not hesitate to get in touch if you have any further questions.
