this week we have had to learn online due to school being on strike and we had to do sumdog for maths. There was a competition to see who got the most coins. We had to do spelling homework.

Today we were learning how to use google maps and we were researching about the island of coll.The island of coll is so small and they only have sixty five people in there school,we were researching about the school,post office and the beach.All of the buildings were so small because,not a lot of people live there,but it was so cool looking at everything even the houses were small.it was also so fun because it was based on a true story, not that long ago.

At home I did sumdog which is maths. This week there was no school because of the strikes. This meant we had to stay at home. Some of us went onto to glow which is a online classroom to do work from our teachers. Monday we had an assembly with Jamsie he is someone that comes into our school to tell us stories from the bible. He is lots of fun and good to listen to.

This week on Monday we were playing grudgeball, grudgeball is a game we play in my class. Its like a quiz but way more fun! Its normally its about history or maths, we get into four teams. Its not that hard questions for me so thats good. We only need two things a ball and a basket. When we answer the question that Miss Campbell gives us we get the ball and stand at a table then throw the ball in the basket! If we make it in the basket we get 2 points but if we dont we get 1 point. We can steal or keep points. Its so fun!

This week we have been learning about sumdog. We was doing maths in sumdog it was fun! and a bit glitchy but it was still fun to play. We was learning spelling games and tests but the tests was easy. The games that we was playing was cool and nice. We was playing football, basketball and much more.This game that i was play it was so fun to play.

On monday we played kahoot me and my friends were called the best manys. We came fourth kahoot is a game that you get  questions and four answers.You have to answer in twenty seconds and it is very fun.

bench ball is a game with 4 teams but only two teams play the next game the other teams play there is 4 balls. it is like doge ball but if you get hit you stand on a bench and your team can get you back in bye throwing a ball and you catch it if all players get out that team loses. we found it really fun and a good way to stay active in pe

Every week my class on Monday play a fun game of Kahoot to test our general knowledge. I came 5th it was so fun. The theme was general knowledge it was 30 questions. it comes up on the screen there is four colours Green, Blue, Red, Yellow you get 10 seconds to answers and there is a score board it depends how much players are playing how many places there are

This week we have had online learning on sumdog because of strikes.We completed our tasks and it was very fun but very sad because we were all alone at home and it was very annoying with all of the work and we did a lot of stuff and we had to do 250 question for 250 coins and it was very fun!

Today I played Uno with Mrs Buchan. I walked into the art room I felt nervous but confident .I sat down and got my cards. We started to play I thought I was winning until I began to not have the right cards I almost lost but soon enough I had one card left. And then I won I was filled with joy.

this week in P6/7 we were playing sum dog and logged. When we logged in we did 2 test to get us started  and I got 15/15 and 40/40. Once I got used to it I started playing at home.

During class today we had to learn about the book “the amazing story of tips” by famous author Micheal Morpurgo. We had to choose which one on a mat to do so I did a fact sheet about world war two it was tricky to think of things to write about so i needed a ipad to help me with all the facts. It didn’t take me long to finish though.

This week we have been home schooling for the past 3 Days, Due to the school strikes. We have been learning for the past few days on google classroom. On google classroom you can talk to your friends, and say Goodmorning to your teachers!, Most importantly we can do school work using google docs, and uploading pictures of art,handwriting etc, I enjoyed home schooling very very much, as there is not so much talking and loudness and you can take a break whenever you want, and sit back and relax whilst doing school work, I enjoyed it  very very much, i wish it was quiet every day, so we can concentrate  on our work and not get distracted.
