Learning in the classroom

This week we have been learning about time including o’clock, half past, quarter past and quarter to. If you want to practise please visit the linkĀ Time.

We have been learning our different phonemes and common words. Here is a website we like to use to practise our common words. Common words. Choose a level that is appropriate for you.

The children have been learning Scots words. If you would like to practise some of the songs have a look at Wee Tv.

We have also been writing our own colour poems based on Color by Christina Rossetti.

Ask the children what colours they chose for their poem and the rhyming words they including for example: What is red? A rose is red and sits in a bed.
