Welcome to Part 2 of our virtual trip to Edinburgh Zoo.
Are you all organised? Have you got the following:
- Tickets
- Cost of tickets
- Plan for the day
Most importantly, are you excited!?
Part 2 will focus on our visit to the zoo. So what are you waiting for? Click on the Sway below and let’s get going!
Good Morning Everyone
I’m ready for our trip. I have decided to make a polar bear mask.
Looking forward to hearing what you will all be making.
So excited. Just logged in to the pandacam and the panda 🐼is having its breakfast
That panda is certainly very hungry! I was hoping to see the tigers, but they all seem to be hiding at the moment. I’ll have to look again later.
Do you have to do part 1 to know what do for part 2?
Great question Megan. Part 1 focused on preparing for the trip – creating a ticket and calculating the total cost. You do not need to complete Part 1. Feel free to go straight to Part 2 🙂
Enjoy your trip Megan. Its great being able to see the animals up close.
I have made it to Edinburgh Zoo. We had great fun on the bus. Even had a wee sleep after getting up so early.
I have just arrived at the Panda enclosure, he seem very hungry eating his breakfast.
Away to see the tigers and lions.
Have a fun day everyone.
Cameron
Sounds like you’re having a great time, Cameron! Enjoy your virtual trip 🙂
The panda certainly was hungry Cameron. I wonder what he is away to do now?
Hope you have better luck than Ms Rees and I, the tigers 🐅seem to still be in bed! Lions🦁 look like they are enjoying some sunshine ☀️.
While waiting fo the tigers, I have had a look around the zoo website and have enjoyed watching some more animals, on video, through the zooin2, discovery learning pages.
One of the tigers has a very special birthday 🎂
Can you guess which one?
Just spotted one of the tigers.
I’m heading off for a look! Tigers are my favourite.
Ooh, I think I’ve spotted one! It’s well camouflaged, though.
Did you see it Ms Rees? Top right hand corner.
No, when I spotted it it was lying down on the first platform on the left of the picture, well-hidden behind some plants.
The koala has now wakened up and is eating eucalyptus leaves.
I have just looked at the tiger and lions and there not there right now. 🙁
Morning Greig, it happened to me yesterday that when I saw the Koala and the Panda they were asleep, for a loooong time. I checked again later and they were awake, I’m sure the tiger and lions will come back soon. You can check what the other animals are doing meanwhile 🙂
I have loved checking up on the webcams of the animals! I’m going to keep watching them. I have sent pictures of my zoo trip work to Mr Mutch.
Hello Charlotte! That’s great 🙂 I’m so glad that you enjoyed the virtual trip. Thank you for taking part.
