Health Heroes- Special Guest No5 Click Me #Formula1sFinest

Hello Everyone,

I hope you are enjoying your week so far out in the lovely sunshine and enjoying our Health and Wellbeing learning opportunities.

It’s Wednesday so that means another Health Hero is here to enlighten you into their world of sportsmanship, please click the sway below to find out who our Special Guest is today.

As David said in his video, he started off his interest in motor sports from a very young age in a small town in the South West of Scotland. From many years of hard work and perseverance he went on to  compete in 15 seasons of Formula One between 1994 and 2008, taking 13 Grand Prix victories and 62 podium finishes,.

I would like to personally thank David Coulthard for replying and  taking the time to create this truly inspirational video for our very own Methlick School pupils and community.

  1. What wonderful advice from David Coulthard.
I am old enough to have watched most, if not all, of David’s F1 races, Niall is very into F1 motor racing 🏎
One thing Niall and I would like to achieve would be to attend and watch a F1 race live🏁

  2. That was amazing and I loved seeing David talking to us, I love F1 and want to watch a grand prix one day.

  4. Hi Miss Deans. I have never herd of until now. I looked up about him and found out that he has won 13 races in Formula 1 and he has driven for McLaren and for Red Bull.

  5. Thanks David!! We enjoyed that so much. My grandad works in motorsports and my dad use to race go-karts for Scotland. He was lucky enough to win one of the old trophy’s David won to become Scottish champion.

      1. I know my grandad was very proud of my dad winning such a big event. My dad often tells me about all the other f1 stars and racing drivers he raced with when he was younger when we watch them on tv.

    1. That’s so interesting, Sol and Sienna – and well done to your dad for winning one of David’s trophies! I enjoyed listening to David’s message very much – lots of sound advice there to anyone with ambition and a goal to pursue. Coincidentally, my brother, who also works in transport/haulage, is friends with David’s brother. It’s a small world. 🙂

  9. This was so interesting and inspiring to watch, I really liked how he described what his granny used to say to him and what it meant for him. I had to do some research too to know more about him.

  10. Thank you for your advice to work hard David. I have been to a Grand Prix when I lived in Singapore. It was so fun and there was a crash right in front of where I was sitting! 😄
