Hi Mrs Rees hope you are having a lovely time.
Going to try and find some smooth stones in the garden and try it.
It’ll be fun if everyone makes a few and brings them to school when it reopens. We can maybe plant them around the playground for others to find, or set up a little display in the foyer.
I LOVE this idea Ms Rees. Brillaint
I did this on wednesday with some stones and shells we collected a long time ago and had in a box.
Erin, I’d love to see them. It’s fun, isn’t it? What designs did you put on them? I’m going to try some more this afternoon.
I did a hedgehog, a ladybird, a flower, a rainbow shell and a pattern. We all did some and are going to make a fairy path in the garden with them.
That sounds absolutely lovely, Erin. Your fairy path will look wonderful. Remember that the stones will need to be varnished before putting them outside, as the colours will wash off when it rains. I’m looking forward to seeing them. Have a lovely weekend.
Good morning Ms Rees ❤
Good morning Megan! How are you today? Are you going to try my craft activity this weekend?
I’m doing good . I will try to find some smooth rocks in my garden ☺☺☺
I look forward to seeing the finished creations, Megan. I know how much you enjoy arts and crafts. 🙂
I love arts and crafts 🎨
Ms Rees, your challenge looks amazing!
Hi Miss Maturana
Hi Megan, hope you are doing well.
Thank you! Are you going to have a go, Miss Maturana?
I’m doing good ☺
I’m going to give it a go because I have a stone collection here at home.
Hope you have a good weekend.
Good for you, Greig. I find it quite relaxing. Posca pens are best, but Sharpies work as well. Remember to wash and dry the stones thoroughly first – I forgot to say that in my Sway! You have a good weekend too. 🙂
This is the link to my sway https://sway.office.com/BX92y6wtPaMTN94U?ref=Link . I finished my stones before I saw the message sorry.
You’ve been busy – I like your Sway, Greig. How are you getting on with the other activities?
I think I’m doing quite well but I’ve done most of the stuff. 🙂
Well done Greig
Thank you Mrs Fraser. Hope you have enjoyed your time off. I certainly have. 🙂
Great to hear from you Greig! I hope that you have had a brilliant first week of Home Learning. Have you tried any of the activities from the grids?
I hope you have had a good week as well. I have also done all of the work from grid 1. You are really good at playing the piano.
You’ve been busy, Greig. That’s great. Thank you for your feedback on my piano playing! I will post a new video of my progress for you to see on Monday.
how do you do the varnish
Hi Mrs Rees just seen your sway and going to try it. Miss you to.
Hello Lucy, I’m glad you’re going to give it a go. I buy a special yacht varnish spray for my stones, but any clear varnish would do. An adult would have to help you with this part, though.
Today I was doing work on daily ten and health and well being
Well done! You’ll know your tables off by heart by the time we’re back to school! Keep up the good work. 🙂
Hi Ms Rees
Me and Lewis are going to give this a go today

I’m still unable to see your Sway, Eva. Sorry. I had this problem earlier with another Sway, but managed to see it eventually. I’ll keep trying! Thank you for taking part.
We painted some rocks and made a sway about it! I loved this task and so did Jacob!

I can see it now – they’re fantastic! Well done, both of you. I’m so glad you enjoyed doing this. I’m going to make a arty-crafty challenge every Friday, so keep a lookout for this week’s activity.
Girls had fun this weekend looking for stones and colouring them in, pics in jotter 🙂
That’s good to know that they enjoyed the activity – I find it quite therapeutic. Did you have a go yourself?
