Our gardening club takes place every Monday lunchtime and during our first meeting, we had to create our very own Team Name. We started off by listing lots of words that are associated with our school and with gardening. Eventually, we decided upon the Team Name …

The Hatton Harvesters

Once that was decided our next job was to decide upon a logo for our club and a tagline which represented what we were all about. Here are some slogans which nearly made the cut.

A little dirt never hurts

In between weeds, flowers grow

Flowers keep us on TRACK

Nothing can stop gardeners

Never give up on flowers

Let’s go gardeners!

However, we decided to cast a vote and together decided upon the following tagline …

Every day is a plantiful day!

Our final task was to create our very own Hatton Harvesters Logo. We looked at different types of logos and identified what made them so great, before creating our very own. Each member of the group came up with different logos ideas, and similarly to our tagline, we held a vote. Here is our winning logo which was designed by Ewan!
