Great excitement today as the children began to learn to write a blog post in Glow.

Qwerty keyboard skills were in use and the children were trying to use both hands to type to get logged on to the Chromebooks.

It was brilliant to see children buddy up with others to teach them how to blog, fantastic learning together! I am very proud!

The class created a spelling list this afternoon to help them edit the posts they are writing about adding conductors to circuits.

Such a lot of effort, everyone deserved  a brain break!

Green group have been doing copper tape experiments. This time we used the same items, a battery pack with batteries, some copper tape and a light. Last time our light didn’t work but this time it did .We turned it on and it lit up.

Blue group have been learning all about circuits. Here is how we made a copper tape circuit!

1. First we had to open the batterie box, and put the batteries inside.

2. Next we put copper tape on the paper to act as the conductors.

3.Then we attached the wires to the copper tape.

4.Next we attached the light and stuck it down with tape .

5.Lastly we drew our copper tape circuit.

1.  Group pink in p5/4 had a red light that they made light up.This is how we did it.
   1.We stuck the batteries into the battery case. 2.Then we got copper tape and a light .3.We stuck the copper tape on the paper.
   4. We stuck the wires onto the copper tape  5.We flicked the switch and the red light lit up. 6.At the end we drew a circuit picture

Green group have been making a copper tape circuit. We had fun. First we had to put the batteries in the battery pack, then we stuck down the copper tape and switched it on though the light did not light up. We think it’s  because the copper tape was crooked.
