The Green Armoured Crocodiles – lighting up play dough
We were doing squishy circuits with play dough. Metal goes through electricity. We went to find metal things in the classroom. I was excited first but then I was frustrated because at the end I didn’t know where the rubix cube thing goes. We used squishy circuits and LEDs and play dough.

Will it Light? Exploring insulators and Conductors.
In P1 we have used copper tape to create a simple circuit, however, Mr. Mutch told us to leave a gap.
When we attached the battery prongs and the L.E.D we had to make sure they were placed a certain way.
Then Mr.Mutch gave us some objects to place on the gap. We found out that when certain things connect the circle up then the electricity can pass through and the L.E.D will light up.
After we sorted all the objects Mr.Mutch told us that objects that allow electricity to pass through are called conductors and things that don’t allow electricity to pass are called insulators.
We were always surprised when the light went on.
Squishing our Learning TOGETHER!
Dough circuits!!!
Today the blue group have been making dough circuits, here’s how
1. First we made two balls of dough.
2. Next we stuck light in the dough
3.Next we attached the connectors to the dough and turned the battery pack on and the light lit up!
4.Then we added more stuff like fans, buzzers, sirens, switches and lights.
we found out if the dough balls touch it doesn’t work.IMG_0541
