The purple group are good at using kind hearts, ears, eyes, hands and mouth.
We were doing squishy circuits with play dough. Metal goes through electricity. We went to find metal things in the classroom. I was excited first but then I was frustrated because at the end I didn’t know where the rubix cube thing goes. We used squishy circuits and LEDs and play dough.
This is my idea
Great excitement today as the children began to learn to write a blog post in Glow.
Qwerty keyboard skills were in use and the children were trying to use both hands to type to get logged on to the Chromebooks.
It was brilliant to see children buddy up with others to teach them how to blog, fantastic learning together! I am very proud!
The class created a spelling list this afternoon to help them edit the posts they are writing about adding conductors to circuits.
Such a lot of effort, everyone deserved a brain break!
To help us to be GREAT at learning together in groups we created mascots.
They are going to help us to learn together by reminding us to use
kind eyes,
kind ears,
kind voices,
kind actions
and most importantly kind hearts!
We used copper tape and LED lights to make a simple circuit. Please watch this video clip to see what we made.
