P3/4 decided they wanted to make decorations to sell at the Christmas Fair. They made salt dough with flour, salt and water. They used cutters to make the shapes and then left them to dry out. Next they painted and glittered them. Finally they threaded them with some help from Sheila on the day before the fair. They sold really well. A big thank you to everyone who took part and who bought them from the stall.

This Thursday is a special day for Scotland because it is St Andrew’s Day. Your homework this week is to find out more about it, and make a poster about St Andrew’s Day. It should be handed in on Friday 1st December.
A useful place to start:

L.I: To research a topic and create a poster.
S.C: Write facts and draw pictures to match.
Make your poster bold and colourful.
We learned more about the French names for parts of the body today, and danced to this very catchy tune. Now you can view it at home and practise your French!
Here is a link to the songs we’ll be singing along to at the Hopscotch Theatre drama workshop this week. Why not listen at home and have lots of fun learning them?
