P5/20 were very lucky when Linda Lemieux and Emily Player came in to show them how to weave with willow. I think they had a great time.

It is proposed that P520 Primary School is to be shut and pupils will have to travel to Markethill land Primary School instead. This will mean getting up an extra hour earlier and travelling by bus. This proposal will be discussed on Thursday the 14th of February by the various P520 political parties.
I have set the blog comments so that I have to say yes to any comments going up. This is because lots of people are commenting and I would like to make sure they are all suitable for our blog. I will try very hard to check the blog regularly and approve all P5/20 comments so that you can continue to chat to each other.
Enjoy the rest of your long weekend.

P5/20 looked at what shape frames were the strongest and then using that knowledge built a bridge. The task was to build a bridge that could hold a white board flat and then hold weights on the white board. Well done to everyone especially the rock and rollers. Look how nearly all the bridges are made of triangular based shapes.

Well P5/20 I am just waiting for the fish to acclimatise to the water temperature then they will be completely in the tank. I think you are going to be very excited when you see them tomorrow, I went a bit fish crazy.
Today we are looking at writing an exciting adventure story on how the fish ended up in P5/20. The most exciting, imaginative and clever story will win the chance to name the fish. As always half the class will be typing them up and the other half will be doing it in their jotter.
Here are the success criteria for today’s story. . . . .
1. A beginning that stimulates the reader to read more.
2. Good, clever, description of characters, setting and the exciting events.
3. Using capital letters, full stops and paragraphs where needed.
4. An exciting event in the middle of the story, which stands out as the main point of the story.
5. An ending which brings the events to a conclusion and leaves the fish in the tank in P5/20.
