Community Involvement

Our local community is very important to us at Southesk.

How They Support Our School

Our Local Community Policing Team work with and support our school in various ways. They speak with our whole school at Assemblies about their role in school and community and will also give talks in individual classes based around relevant learning.

The Policing Team can help us to support our learners and their families when required, this may involve speaking with a particular group or individual pupils and their families.

They support our Junior Road Safety Officers (JRSO) with their work in keeping the roads around  our school safer for all pupils.

The Policing Team also assist in organising the Fire Academy input which some of our pupils attend.
