We have beautiful, extensive grounds at Newbigging Primary School. Our playground has lots of play equipment such as a trim trail, basketball nets, football goals and loose parts play for building dens. We also have lots of seating areas and playground games.

With the help of our dedicated parent council, we have recently secured Lottery funding which helped us to install a swing and a play fort. We’ve had lots of fun playing in it ever since!

We have our lunch in the village hall which is right next to the school and we also do our PE lessons in there, unless we are doing it outside.

Our library is a huge area where we can go to chill out and read. We have some lovely soft seating areas where we can snuggle up with a book if we want to, as well as some tables and chairs where we can do research.
