Welcome to Newbigging Primary School. We are a small, friendly and welcoming rural school on the border of Angus and Dundee.

Our School Vision

Following consultation with parents, staff, pupils and the local community in 2024, our vision is “Preparing for the Path”. At Newbigging we believe that education should prepare children for the path they may choose in life, whatever that may be.

Aims

We aim to support children to become successful learners, confident individuals, responsible citizens and effective contributors.

Rights Respecting Schools

At Newbigging, we have our Silver Rights Respecting Schools Award. We teach our pupils about their rights and have a Right of the Month where we focus on learning about the different rights and complete activities linked to this right.
