It was the primary 1’s first full day today and it was a bit scary for them. We helped them with their lunch in the dinner hall. We hope the will not be scared and have a good year in P1.

Mr Campbells Injury
Mr Campbell has hurt his leg and had to go to hospital so we had Mrs Connor and Mrs Smith today. We hope he gets better.
Assembly quiz
At assembly because it is Roald Dahl month we did a quiz with the house captains. The questions were quite easy but some of them made you think. Rowan won with 45 points then Beech with 30 then Oak with 15 then Ash with 5. It is Roald Dahls birthday tomorrow.
Handball
Today P7 had gym and we did handball. It was really fun and we enjoyed doing it. We were in teams and had a mini competition. There was 5 teams all together and we all worked hard together to score goals!
P7 Dancing
Yesterday P7 had a dance instructor in to teach us some dancing. We learned the New Zealand rugby players Haka and an Indian dance. In the Indian dance there was a lot of hand movements. We were all feirce during the Haka. We had lots of fun doing it and hope the other classes enjoyed it too!
Mrs Budd
Mrs Budd was in today (Thursday). Mr Bramhall was in a meeting, so Mrs Budd had to cover the class. We were finishing off our persuasive writing and Mrs Budd was impressed at how much we knew about the Beaver reintroduction programme.
seaside group project
P7 were doing a group task.We got a sheet of paper and we had to draw a picture of a rocky shore. Then we got a sheet of paper with a rocky shore animal on it and wrote its name. We were in groups for this task. Then we had to draw the animal on our rocky shore picture.
