Parent Update – The Christmas Edition
Dear Parents / Carers, We are now more than half-way through the term and we look forward to seeing as many of you as possible this coming Wednesday 5-6.30pm at our Sharing Our Learning event. As with previous years, we will be collecting for the Dundee & Angus Foodbank and the Angus Toy Appeal throughout the evening and any donations can be dropped off in the gym hall and will greatly appreciated! Dear Parents / Carer’s, I hope you all had a wonderful October break. We are now well into to the flow of term 2 and all that this term brings! STAFFING UPDATE I am delighted to say that last term, Mrs. Deborah Houston was appointed as our new Principal Teacher. Mrs Houston comes to us from Dundee City Council where she has been working for the last couple of years within their pedagogy team delivering training and supporting schools. Wow…. where have the last 7 weeks gone? What a quick and busy term we have had! The children have been settling well into their new classrooms and have been working very hard. Every two weeks, everyone has also taken part in our “StarMaker” Groups. 🤩CELEBRATING SUCCESS🤩 🔬STEM Grant 🔬 Before the summer, Miss Smith submitted an application for the MVV Challenge Fund 2025. We asked for a £1500 grant to support the school in purchasing 6 Vex-Go Robotics kits and 6 sphero minis. Glow Blogs has been updated to WordPress 6.8.2. This update is mostly a behind the scenes one, you might not notice much difference.Fixed: PDF problem
An issue with pdf uploaded to Glow Blogs has recently developed. Our developers are looking at the issue to create a fix. The issue is that pdfs uploaded to Glow Blogs are ‘truncated’ to one page. We hope this is fixed soon. There are a few workarounds you can use in the meantime.
