Parent Update – November 2025
Dear Parents / Carer’s, I hope you all had a wonderful October break. We are now well into to the flow of term 2 and all that this term brings! STAFFING UPDATE I am delighted to say that last term, Mrs. Deborah Houston was appointed as our new Principal Teacher. Mrs Houston comes to us from Dundee City Council where she has been working for the last couple of years within their pedagogy team delivering training and supporting schools. It is hoped that she will start on the 10th of November. Miss Jill Ferrie joins us this week as ourHead Lice and Nits Advice

Wow…. where have the last 7 weeks gone? What a quick and busy term we have had! The children have been settling well into their new classrooms and have been working very hard. Every two weeks, everyone has also taken part in our “StarMaker” Groups. 🤩CELEBRATING SUCCESS🤩 🔬STEM Grant 🔬 Before the summer, Miss Smith submitted an application for the MVV Challenge Fund 2025. We asked for a £1500 grant to support the school in purchasing 6 Vex-Go Robotics kits and 6 sphero minis. Canva Embeds in Glow Blogs
Canva embeds are now supported in Glow Blogs.Fixed: PDF Issue

Glow Blogs has been updated to WordPress 6.8.2. This update is mostly a behind the scenes one, you might not notice much difference.Fixed: PDF problem
An issue with pdf uploaded to Glow Blogs has recently developed. Our developers are looking at the issue to create a fix. The issue is that pdfs uploaded to Glow Blogs are ‘truncated’ to one page. We hope this is fixed soon. There are a few workarounds you can use in the meantime.Glow Blogs Release September 2025
