Walker Road WOWs are only given to pupils and staff by Mrs Merchant. A Walker Road WOW is awarded for an achievement out of school (such as a sporting award), for special recognition when a pupil’s behaviour/attitude is recognised by the local community or by members of school staff. A Walker Road WOW also comes with a Golden Lunch Ticket which lets children have extra lunchtime with a friend.
