Our pupils share their ideas with the world!
Primary 5 (Miss Munro’s class) were challenged to create a collaborative piece of art for MOL Energy’s new office in Aberdeen. They have exceeded all expectations and received lots of compliments about their work, their creativity and positive attitudes towards others from all involved. The class worked with students from Gray’s School of Art and presented the pieces based on the theme of transition to Chris Bird (Managing Director) at school on Tuesday. Grahame Paterson (CEO of Transition Extreme), who co-ordinated the project, was so impressed he has sponsored a day at Transition Extreme for the whole class – well done Primary 5!
And…Primary 4 (Miss Davidson’s class) wrote persuasive letters to First Bus to ask them to help celebrate Wojtek – The Brave Bear who served with the Polish Army during World War 2. First Bus was so impressed they have asked Primary 4 to rename the main bus route for Torry (#12) after Wojtek. The Primary 4s have just finished their animation about Wojtek (coming soon!) and are now helping to create the Wojtek section of our blog – a work in progress! Well done Primary 4 – your voices were truly listened to and we are so proud of your achievements!
