We had great fun yesterday selling our Jazzy Jiggly Jelly.
The children enjoyed selling at our stalls. strawberry was the most popular in our market research and this was true, as we quickly sold out of strawberry.
The children were also involved in counting the money.
We made £29.21, which will go to Cash for Kids.
Well Done P2 and P2/3!
One of our reading books is titled ‘Food as Art’.
Here are eight of the children’s food as art creations!
Well done everyone!
To improve our writing skills we often sit with a partner and discuss how successful we have been.
The children are very good at this and lots of good discussion takes place.
With the advice from their peers, the children should be able to move their learning forwards to greater success.
Sometimes it is more meaningful to listen to advice from a friend, than a grown-up!!
On Friday 10th June we visited the Enhanced Provision classroom to buy masks, guess name of the teddy and try the lucky dip.
We had a fun day and raised lots of money for animal all around the world!
We all looked great!
We went out to the playground to measure the area of 3 chalk shapes.
We used our bodies to measure their area. We were very good at estimating the size of the area.
We recorded the area of each shape so we could look at which shape had the greatest area, and which had the smallest area.
We measured each shape twice.
The first time some of us lay down and some of us sat cross-legged. We then decided that because some of us are tall and some of us are short, we should all sit cross-legged.
We then went into the classroom too do some classroom activities on area and some information handling using Carroll Diagrams.
We have been looking at animal adaptations.
Today we were sorting the different adaptations of the giraffe, polar bear and camel to survive in their different environments.
