Today the Primary 7 pupils went to Gordon Highlanders Museum to learn more about their role in World War 2. They explored a range of primary sources to find out who the mystery soldier was, tried on some army wear and investigated what weaponry was used.
Primary 7 had Mr Paterson in today from Aberdeen Urban Studies Trust. He brought in lots of Artefacts from World War 2 for the class to study and learn from.
Primary 7 are at Absafe today. They are taking part in a safety adventure to learn about the dangers in everyday situations and assess the risks involved.
Over the past few weeks Primary 7 have been learning about renewable and non renewable types of energy. They have built their own solar ovens taking into account the importance of all the key features. Over the next week they will take recordings of water inside the oven to investigate whether there is a temperature rise.

Primary 7 enjoyed various activities while participating at Techfest. They learned how to identify different trees, how to build a strong structure and learned about factors which pollute our water.
Primary 7 pupils enjoyed coding their rabbits during a visit from the SPCA. They learned lots of animal facts too.
