Life in the Arctic
As part of our Wider Topic the children have been studying the similarities and differences between Scotland and the Arctic region. We looked at how the climate changes the way people live and travel and studied black and white photos of people using sleighs pulled by reindeer in Siberia. The children used charcoal to produce their own versions.
The children wrote journals of a day in the life of someone in the Arctic. They chose a job and a region and described the typical day of a person from that place.
Reflective Reading
The children have enjoyed using Google Classroom to complete reading activities this half term. They read an extract online and answer the questions on a Google Form.
