What a busy week we have had! Well done to Odafe as our Pupil of the Week!

This term we are reading:

It’s never too early for Christmas! We have loved beginning this novel in class and have been creating some landscapes and pictures about the novel. We have been using adjectives to describe our pictures.

This term we are learning Makaton and have began to learn ‘How Far I’ll Go’ from Moana in Makaton! We are learning about what Makaton is, who uses it and why it is important!

I hope you all had a wonderful holiday!

Please remember:

  • Homework goes live at 08:45am every Monday on Google Classroom.
  • Please bring in a snack to school each day in a plastic bag/container.
  • Long hair is to be tied back in a pony tail.
  • Indoor shoes are now encouraged, especially as the weather changes.
  • Please do not take school bags into school as per the advice of Aberdeen City Council.
  • Prescribed hand soaps and cream can come into school in a sealed plastic bag. These must be kept in your child’s tray and must stay in school.
  • Reading will commence this term but books will not be going home.

End of Term 1

I cannot believe it is the October holidays! We have reached the end of term and it has been JAM-PACKED with exciting learning and playing in P3/4.

This Friday we are wearing yellow to support Young Minds. We are encouraging all pupils to wear yellow to school on Friday and if you are able to, donate to this very important cause.

L: I can say multiples of 5 and 10.

I: I can add tens.

C: I can add 10 to a two digit number.

 

Topic: Climate and Agriculture

We are looking at local food production this week.

We will be keeping our Weather Diaries this week and creating a weather report. Look out for our Weather report for this week at the end of the week!
