Literacy

Up until the end of term we will be consolidating the sounds we have been learning.  Please go over these (either in your phonics envelope or in your little blue book).

If there are any particular sounds that your child is forgetting spend extra time on it.  You could also watch ‘Geraldine the Giraffe’ (available for most sounds).

Other ideas for revision:

  • use Jolly Phonics App
  • draw pictures for the sound
  • make words with magnetic letters
  • write words with chalk outdoors
