Pupil of the Week

Our Pupil of the Week award on Friday went to Kai – Congratulations Kai!! Kai has been working extremely hard in class and has really impressed us with his work in maths last week. Kai is also a great friend who is always very kind and caring towards others. We’re proud of you Kai!

Oreo Moon Phases

We all had lots of fun in Room 3 on Thursday learning about the different phases of the moon. We worked cooperatively in groups to create the phases of the moon using Oreo cookies! The task took a lot of careful concentration, patience and teamwork!  We all loved this task – especially when we got to eat the leftover Oreo cookies at the end!

Autumn Leaves

We used Autumn leaves as the stimulus for our writing this week. We had lots of fun outside collecting leaves and looking at all the different colours and shapes.

In class we thought of words to describe what Autumn leaves look like, feel like and how they fall from the trees then we put our ideas together to write some super poems! Here are a few of our wonderful poems from this week….

Finally, we used our Autumn Leaves to create these fantastic Leaf People! We love them!!
