Our last assembly of the session celebrated the Term 4 achievements of P3/4-5 pupils.  Well done everyone for a successful and productive year!

Our final P6-7 assembly of the school year and, for P7, their final assembly at Cults Primary.  A special Leavers Assembly will take place Wednesday 28th, to which P7 parents and carers are invited.

Our recent assemblies have included:

• completing the story of ‘Avenger’ by Pete Johnson.  Jake has been bullying Gareth, turning almost the whole school against him.  Gareth then turns the tables on him by exposing Jake as a liar and subjecting Jake to the same treatment as Gareth experienced.  But, as we discussed, do two wrongs make a right?  This story helped us consider including everyone and respecting everyone’s feelings.
• respecting people’s beliefs by learning about the Hindu festival of Holi
• enjoying watching and listening to P6/7 as they shared their achievements when learning about charities and responsible citizenship
• discussing ‘peer pressure’ and being responsible for our actions
