The boys and girls made some lovely invitations to invite their families into the early learning classes to make a craft with them, for the three Wednesdays leading up to Christmas. On week one, the children made Christmas trees using paper plates. Week two, saw the children making shortbread and mince pies to serve with some juice. One class made Christmas cards with their families and the other decorated salt dough tree decorations.
We were very lucky and got a Christmas tree for each Early Leaning class.
Some parents have been asking how they can help their child at home with reading, writing and counting.
There are some fabulous ideas on the Read, Write & Count website.
