This week we attended a workshop run by Explore Learning.  We had fun making human bar graphs and found out that:

• there are more girls than boys in the class
• chocolate is the most popular flavour of ice-cream, closely followed by strawberry
• rabbits were the most popular animal and cats were the least popular

We also recorded information on a pictograph.

We also took our maths learning outside this week.  When Miss Aitken called a number we had to race around the wildlife garden.  We worked on our numbers to 10, numbers before/after/between as well as adding and subtracting.  We also raced to line up in the correct order.  It was lots of fun.  We also practised our number formation with chalk.
