Our New Year Resolutions!

January 18, 2017 by Ms Shand

Our writing task was to decide what our resolution would be. Our targets were to remember finger spaces between words, capital letters at the beginning of our sentences and to use full stops at the end.

Looks like there are going to be lots of very tidy houses!

Junk modelling with P5/6

November 25, 2016 by Ms Shand

We have been reading the book “There’s a Bear on my Chair” as part of our Book Bug topic. We brought in our own teddy bears and decided to make chairs for them. I know Room 4 really enjoyed working with P5/6. A huge thank you to Mrs Dillaway and her class.

imageInspired by one of our Book Bugs books, “Shark in the Park on a windy Day” by Nick Sharrat we wrote about our experiences at the park.

We had to remember to use finger spaces, a capital letter at the beginning of our sentence and a full stop at the end. We has to use traffic lights to self asses our work.

Here is a selection of some of our fantastic pieces of writing.

Well done room 4!
