We have been reading the book “There’s a Bear on my Chair” as part of our Book Bug topic. We brought in our own teddy bears and decided to make chairs for them. I know Room 4 really enjoyed working with P5/6. A huge thank you to Mrs Dillaway and her class.
Inspired by one of our Book Bugs books, “Shark in the Park on a windy Day” by Nick Sharrat we wrote about our experiences at the park.
We had to remember to use finger spaces, a capital letter at the beginning of our sentence and a full stop at the end. We has to use traffic lights to self asses our work.
Here is a selection of some of our fantastic pieces of writing.
Last week we had an extremely busy week learning about the different types of jobs engineers do. We learned how they turn materials into everything we need to live.
We had to complete challenges and record our favourite one in our log book.
