This week we read Jack and the Beanstalk. After discussing parts of the book, we focused on learning about what plants need to grow and the life-cycle of plants. We planted our own cress seeds which we will water and look after in the hope that they grow so that we can taste them! We also designed our own beanstalks using inspiration from the story and our own imaginations. We read different stories about planting, growing food and farms, and we also took part in a cut and stick activity involving the life-cycle of a growing plant. We will keep you updated with the growth of our cress!

You can bring in items for our themed basket at any time up until Tuesday 17th May.  So far we have a glass cake stand,  some sparking wine, bottle covers and cake wraps.  We will keep you updated on this so we don’t get too many of the same things.  Our theme basket is ‘Afternoon Tea’.  Thank you!
