Here is a recipe for Tomato soup, see if you and a grown-up can give this a go at home! Perfect for this cold weather just now!
What you will need is:
- 2 x medium garlic gloves
- Full (400g) tinned chopped tomatoes
- Medium onion
- 450g of roasted red peppers
- 100ml chicken stockpot
- 900 ml of boiling water
- teaspoon of paprika
- 30 ml of creme fraiche.
- Season to taste
Method:
- Chop the onion and mince the garlic, put oil in the pan and cook for around 6 minutes until soft.
- Roughly chop the roasted red pepper and cook in the pan for another 5 minutes.
- Add chopped tomatoes, stockpot and seasoning then stir and allow to cook on a low heat for 5 minutes.
- Add Boiling water, bring the pan to a boil then reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Take off the heat and blend until smooth.
- Stir in your creme fraiche then serve.
- Season if you want to.
Enjoy more with dipping some bread into it!
