Brighten up our walks

We have spent our Easter Holidays collecting stones on our walks.

We love to collect a few nice pebbles here and there but now we have a mini mountain of stones at the back door.

We have decided to decorate them and drop them off around Kincorth to see if they can spread some smiles to those who find them.

We did some rocks last year with the children and hid them on our Wee Green Spaces days. They were great fun and the children enjoyed making their stones into many different things.

Why are Painted Rocks Hidden Everywhere?

This is a fun art activity to do at home with your grown-ups and if you find any rocks painted then please share a picture on ILD or on the school twitter page.

I wonder how many you can find on your walks?

What will you paint on your rocks and stones?

We can’t wait to see.

Welcome Back

We hope you all enjoyed your Easter Holidays.

We hoped to be seeing you all in nursery, but sadly we are still closed. We  will continue to post stories, songs and activities on the blog for you to engage in at home.

Today we have some singing stories!

We hope that you are all feeling happy.

What is making you feel happy just now?

The next singing story about space is inspired by one of our friends who has made a fantastic Solar System!

The last one we have is ‘Over in the Meadow’.

What have you been doing with your parents in your home?

We love hearing about all you have been doing. Please keep uploading your photos and video’s to your ILD.

*Parents remember videos over 1 minute won’t upload.*

Stay safe, and keep in touch
