Monday 11th May

Hello Everyone,

We hope you all had a great weekend. We are having lots of different weather just now – sun, rain and snow! Did you see the snow on Sunday? I was hoping we could have a snowman building competition, but the snow didn’t last.

Here is an activity we can do. This was posted by one of our friends.

As you can see our friend made a bracelet with different things they collected on their walk. Do you think you could make a bracelet or perhaps a crown?

Here is what you will need:

  • Enough card/ paper to wrap round your wrist for a bracelet or head if you are making a crown.
  • Double sided sticky tape
  • Items you collect on a walk

Here are the instructions:

  • Measure and cut the card/ paper to size
  • Put some sticky tape along the length of it
  • Stick down what you collect
  • Stick the ends of the card/ paper together
  • Wear it

We would love to see a photo of your creation.

Today’s story is all about colouring mixing.

Maybe you could experiment at home and see what different colours you can make.

Enjoy your day.

Wednesday 6th May

Hello Everybody.

Today is a story and an activity that one of our friends has been doing at home.

Our friends Zac gathered sticks and made his own stick man. Do you think you can make one?

Here is a song about another Julia Donaldson Character. Do you recognise him?

Bye for now. Stay safe everyone.

In this together.

In times like this, we have to remember our neighbours. It is wonderful to see such a brilliant community pull together and keep each other safe at this time.

Some of us have lost our jobs, lost part or all of our income, and some of us may have lost a loved one.

The whole country is currently the same, Aberdeen Community are however here for everyone. With so many resources open to helping families around the area.

Do not suffer alone.

Monday 4th May

Hello everybody,

Today’s story is about how we are connected to people even when we can’t see them.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gJNwqtr8Oww

Remember even though you are not at nursery just now that all your teachers are thinking of you and miss you.

What other ways can you tell people that you are thinking of them?

Perhaps you could draw someone you know a picture or make a card and send it to them.

Bye for now.
