Congratulations they are girls!
The nursery children spotted baby stick insects in the tank today. We will be cleaning them out and then need to see how many little babies we have. The children did some research to see how big stick insects can get.
They can can grow up to 30cm long.
We learned that all stick insects are girls.
Come in and meet our babies.

Autumn walk
Today, the nursery children all got wrapped up and searched for signs of autumn. The children looked at the different colours of leaves on trees and on the ground. They had lots of fun collecting items which we will use in nursery.
Outdoor Autumn Walk
To introduce our theme of Autumn, we have decided to take a nature walk to explore the outdoors on Wednesday, October 2 this week. For this, we ask that you make sure your child has wellies (as some have still not brought a pair for the classroom) and a jacket. Mittens and toque would not hurt as well.
Can’t wait to see what we find !
