The children have been enjoying getting dressed up, party games and ducking for apples. We have had lots of fun.

The morning children had lots of fun today. We played party games and we tried ducking for apples.

The children in both nurseries have been busy carving their pumpkins for Halloween!

The finished pumpkins look fantastic. Well done.

The nursery children spotted baby stick insects in the tank today. We will be cleaning them out and then need to see how many little babies we have. The children did some research to see how big stick insects can get.

They can can grow up to 30cm long.

We learned that all stick insects are girls.

Today, the nursery children all got wrapped up and searched for signs of autumn. The children looked at the different colours of leaves on trees and on the ground. They had lots of fun collecting items which we will use in nursery.
