A visitor and Mortal Engines

We are now on chapter 15 of “Mortal Engines” and there have been plenty of twists and turns.  We have been studying the interesting vocabulary, the amazing description and the use of dialogue.  In art, as well as drawing a very detailed picture of St Paul’s Cathedral, we are continuing with the construction of our traction cities.  This task is proving to be challenging but we are learning a lot about working as a team and co-operating with others.

We also had a visit today from Mr Sandy Beattie, Team Leader of Master Planning, Design and Conservation for Aberdeen City.  We really enjoyed his talk and we would like to thank him for his time.

Next week, the P7s will be taking part in a transition activity at Scotstown with some of the current first years.
