Katherine Rundell and the Literacy Trust have gathered lots of children’s authors together to create an online book to cheer everyone up during lockdown. The stories are no more than a few pages long. You can click on a particular story from the contents page. There are contributions from lots of your favourite authors.
SYNC is a free summer audiobook program for teens. Returning April 30, 2020, SYNC will give away two complete audiobooks a week – pairs of high interest titles, based on weekly themes. Sign up for email or text alerts and be first to know when new titles are available to download at www.audiobooksync.com
You can join Aberdeen City Libraries online here. If you’re under 16, you’ll need to have a parent fill in their details. It’s quick and easy. You’ll then be able to log in to lots of free online resources.
You can download the BorrowBox app from the app store on your device for ebooks and audioboooks.

It’s easiest to listen while you’re doing something else. Try listening to an audiobook while you’re doing a puzzle, colouring in, building with lego, crafting or doing the housework. The time will fly by 😉
